Under the Ministry of Construction's directly control was established, includes 8 members.

Rearranged and restructured organization and officially estab lished Building Materials Corporation No. 1 - State-owned company (so-called BMC No 1) with 11 members.

The Company officially changed its short name from BMC No 1 to FiCO and started investing in different kind of projects, including cements producing (established cement plant with total investment of 3,500 billion VND for production line No.1), investing in real estates,... FiCO branches was extended to 16 members.

Changed its operation into holding company and implemented its mission of promoting trading construction products and real estate, including intensify international investment collaboration with total 05 wholly-owned , 05 subsidiaries, 16 join venture units.

Changed the holding company's status - Building Materials Corporation No. 1 (FiCO) into One-member limited Liability Company with 100% of charter capital owned by the State. FiCO successfully introduced to the market major projects of housing, associated Singapore (Pan-United) to establish FiCO PanU, as joint venture in the field of supplying concrete products and optimal technology solutions on concrete materials.

Equalized in the form of partly selling its existing state capital, formally transformed into FiCO Corporation - Joint stock Company, in which 40% charter capital is owned by the State.

In May 2017, FiCO is officially changed the name into FiCO Corporation - JSC, especially focus on brand and market development.
